Mandatory Requirements for Using Vietnamese Documents in the Netherlands

1. Certified Translation:

• Documents must be translated into English or Dutch.

• The translation must be notarized.

2. Accompanying Documents:

• The original, or an extract, or a copy issued by a competent state authority in Vietnam.

• Note: The copy must not be a regular certified copy by a notary public.

• Both the translation and the original (or extract/copy) must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.

- The signature and seal on the documents must have been introduced and registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam (Consular Department or the Department of External Relations in Ho Chi Minh City).

- If the signature and seal are invalid or not registered, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not certify the Vietnamese version of the document, and your documents will not be recognized in the Netherlands.
