I. Process Steps
Step 1: Obtain Documents from Competent Authorities

Judicial record certificates (issued by the Department of Justice)

Application for Notarization
Use the form provided by the Korean Embassy
If submitting on behalf of 3 or more individuals, additional supporting documents must be submitted with the application
Photocopy (both sides) of the consularly certified document
Power of Attorney (if submitting on behalf of someone else)

Must not be written in capital letters
Not required for family members, but you must present a copy of a document proving the relationship (e.g., birth certificate, household registration book)
Photocopy of the authorized representative’s ID card/passport
Passport copy of the applicant (if submitting on their behalf)
The original passport must bear the applicant’s signature
III. For Documents Issued by Legal Entities (Enterprises or State Agencies)
Additional required documents:
Business Registration Certificate or Establishment Decision
Must be notarized and translated into Korean or English
Power of Attorney and Application for Notarization must include:
Company/agency stamp
If signed by a legal representative, include a photocopy of their identification document
