2.1. 2.2. Civil and commercial documents bearing official signatures and seals of competent authorities, used for the purpose of mutual legal assistance and transmitted through the Central Authorities, are exempt from consular legalization/authentication under Article 5 of the Agreement on Mutual Legal Assistance in Civil and Commercial Matters (2010).

2. Conditions for Legalization by the Embassy of Algeria

According to the Embassy of Algeria in Vietnam, documents will only be legalized if they meet all of the following conditions:

  • The documents must be translated into Algeria, accompanied by the original or a certified true copy of the original document.

  • The translation or the original document in English, Algeria, or bilingual format (or certified true copy) must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam (either the Consular Department or the Department of External Relations of Ho Chi Minh City)
